Coca Cola CNY AR activations

What is it? 

For their 2019 Chinese New Year campaign Coca Cola teamed up with AliPay to deliver a unique AR experience. The campaign featured clay doll characters inspired by local folk art tradition. The characters were featured on special editon packaging, consumers could scan them through AliPay and watch as they came to life in AR. The characters threw snowballs or hug, then deliver holiday wishes. Finally consumers were treated with a red packet containing digital coupons which went straight into their AliPay account to be used through the platform on any payment. TVC's supported the campaign and helped to spread the word.
